History of Hunter Boats

Some HUNTER Boats Operator's Manuals PDF are above the page.

Hunter Marine is a Florida cruise sailing yacht manufacturer with over 40 years of history. Thanks to one of the founders of the brand, the famous yachtsman Warren Luhrs, the models are traditionally famous for the combination of excellent quality and relatively affordable prices.

The Hunter brand was registered by the brothers in 1973 in Florida as a manufacturer of sailing boats. The first yachts instantly won the sympathy of the public.

In August 2012, the Hunter brand was acquired by David E. Marlow.

At the peak of capacity in the mid-2000s, Hunter shipyards in Connecticut, Florida, and the United Kingdom built more than 2,000 sailboats annually.

Now Hunter Marine launches less than 20 boats a year: they are assembled in a modern shipyard located in the town of Alachua, near the research center of the University of Florida.
